LethalFX is a professional human beatboxer, known mostly for his intense stage performance and involvement with the American beatbox community. The 29 year old artist, born Ludovic G. Nicolaidis, has been beatboxing for over 15 years and actively performing since 2009.
Currently based out of Columbus, the Ohio native has since performed for various crowds of up to 10,000 people. Known for his distinctive performance styles, his diverse beatboxing abilities touch on a variety of genres such as electronic dance music, hip hop and even jazz, as well as including live looping and production components into his sets. LethalFX continues to live up to his reputation of being an incredible live performer, placing an emphasis on improvisation and creating live music on the spot, whether it’s acapella beatboxing or showcasing how he uses his equipment to enhance his performance.

Plaid Brixx
The much-anticipated video for “The Greener Side” was shot and directed by Dale “Rage” Resteghini (previous credits include Fall Out Boy, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj). The single serves as the band’s kick off to their new EP, with productioncredits from The Agency (credits include Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Becky G). Plaid Brixx’s new sound takes on a totally different style, a departure from the band’s alternative rock roots. “We’re excited about the new direction for our music,” said front man Chris Duggan, “we hope our fans will be happy with our evolution!”

Beyond Pluto is a Space Rock Band featuring T.J. Brown on vocals/turntables, Shane Kelson on guitar/loops/backup vocals, and Carlos Torres-Ortiz on drums. The band has experienced many joys in their hometown such as co-headlining The Newport Music Hall and performing at Red, White & Boom firework show. Cheering BP fans from the pit have been known to shout, “We love you!” after songs while others have hoisted signs and fan shirts. The band’s first full length album “Adaptation” was released on February 19th 2016 at A&R Music Bar in their beloved city: Columbus Ohio. This was one of the largest crowds Beyond Pluto has generated with support from CD102.5, The Columbus Dispatch, and Columbus Alive. The group has stayed grounded despite spacey dreams and themes. Dingo8
Dingo8 is a music lover at heart, starting his journey in garage bands in the 80’s. Influenced by skate punk and alternative music, Brian started tuning into electronic music in the 90’s. Working with 4 tracks and drum machines, Brian asked a friend to show him how to record with a computer. Years of experimenting led to the formation of Digital Coalition, a collective of DJs and producers that expanded his musical horizon. These years helped form Dingo into a DJ that is in tune with his dance floors.
By 2000 Dingo was producing house music which caught the attention of Restart House Music. After many bookings Brian was asked to run operations at Restart. Six years later Restart is still growing and keeping the vibe alive. Watch for Dingo to drop funky disco house, or some jazzy originals. Dingo has even branched out into the world of drum and bass, mixing soul samples with gritty bass lines. Dingo8: DJ, producer, and musician, is constantly pushing himself to bring joy to dance floors everywhere.

Woody Haze: alter ego of long time dub / reggae DJ Josh Allen of Fundamental Sounds. Woody Haze is pushing outside the conventional sounds of most DJs in the dance / hip hop / electronic scene. Haze focuses on cinematic atmospherics, slightly off kilter 80’s electronic, with a nod to traditional sound system style dub reggae. Woody Haze does not come out often, but he does he brings a sound concept designed to enhance or alter the social atmosphere.

DJMC Jinx
You can’t have a conversation about the old school Cleveland/Akron scene WITHOUT mentioning the name DJMC Jinx. Entering the Cleveland scene in 1989 as an MC, he was first introduced to the Underground via Red Zone Productions underground 4th street parties. In 1990, he won an MC battle in the VIP room of the legendary Metropolis in the Flats and was immediately picked up by Counter Culture Collective. He got his DJ start both from legend Scott Forbush, who furnished him his 1st vinyls, and from super promoter Mel Arnwine of CCC who had him opening after hours. Under the tutelage of Cleveland underground’s best DJ’s he morphed into a house music force, playing sets regularly at Club One, Smart Bar, Alter House, U4IA and others. In late 1993 he hooked up with some rave kids from Akron and became a member of the Eternal Peace Tribe Family, and later helped underground party genius Ras I Free in launching Underground Peace Society. A regular fixture at the Attik, Jinx had aspirations to branch out musically, so in 1996 he moved to Columbus Ohio and set out to re-invent himself. Jinx has played over 1000 events, has had multiple residencies in clubs, bars, parties and raves for over 25 years, and after a hiatus, has returned to the scene wielding house, drum and bass, and hip hop as his weapons of choice. Jinx currently hosts his own weekly internet radio show, “Underground Soul” which airs Monday nights from 8p-10p EST on www.soulfulvibe.com in Room 1.
